Hey I'm Matthew, a product, design and engineering geek based in beautiful rural Warwickshire, England.

I bring a hybrid skillset that spans discovery, research, and end-to-end design through to front-end delivery. I'm most effective in teams where design and code need to speak the same language.

Before primarily focusing in product, UX and design ops, I spent around 12 years working within the web space, focusing on web design and web development.

Currently

Learning, designing and buiding my own set of products, understanding more about AI and how I can add more tooling to my design and development workflows.

Expeirence

I've worked on both B2B and B2C products as an individual contributor across fintech, e-commerce, health, leisure, education, transport and beyond. I also have a background in coaching and mentoring in both design and development spaces, helping individuals build their skills with clear direction.

Hybrid apporach

I've been lucky enough to have worked as both as a designer and developer in a hybrid role most of my career. I love coding to bring ideas and prototypes to life, exploring motions and micro-interactions, visualising large datasets and building unique interface elements — where design and engineering need to speak the same language.
